Let’s all freeze some penguins on the Nintendo Switch March 18th
Göteborg, Sweden – February 26, 2026 – Now you're thinking with penguins! From the creator of Yono and the Celestial Elephants (2017), Neckbolt and Burning Planet are proud to announce their upcoming title Let’s Freeze Some Penguins for the Nintendo Switch. It’s a cozy block-pushing game set north of the Arctic Circle, in the wintry wonderland Northern Bear. Walnut the Walrus has a little magic in his mittens, and can freeze hapless penguins into slippery ice-blocks, which he can then slide around to build bridges and stairs. It’s time to save Northern Bear from the dreaded Emperor Penguin!
“The good thing about Penguins”, says developer Niklas Hallin, “is that it's a puzzle game where you can't get stuck! Even if the next move isn’t exactly clear, there's still stuff to do. There are penguins to freeze! I've always thought of this game as something for parents to play together with their kids.”
Let’s Freeze Some Penguins releases on the Nintendo Switch on March 18th. It can be a wholesome and comical game for parents to play together with young children. It’s localized into several languages.
The developer guarantees that no generative AI has been used in the production of this game.
Let’s Freeze some Penguins is already available for wishlisting for on Steam -- and you can play the demo now.
