Punny Detective Puzzler Feline Forensics and the Meowseum Mystery Pounces PCs in Q2 2026
Developer Devcats leaps onto the publishing cat tree with its first fluffy title
CAXIAS DO SUL, Brazil – Feb. 18, 2026 – Devcats, the award-winning team of felines responsible for the 1.5 million-unit-selling Full of Cats series, venture into the publishing space to lend their expertise to indie developers. Its first title Feline Forensics and the Meowseum Mystery, the hiss-terical noir detective puzzler from developer Nobody Crown, launches on Steam for Windows PC in Q2 2026.
Investigate a meowsterious mystery as a stylish Detective famous for crushing crime and eating catnip, and he’s all out of catnip. The heist of the century has just taken place at a once-thriving museum, and this determined tabby will need to rely on his sharpest wit to crack the case.
Study crime scenes littered with clues and potential leads. Add critical pieces of evidence to a yarn-less board - we have to stay focused now - to make connections and start unraveling the conspiracy. Whisker suspects away to the interrogation room, and get to grilling until they’re coughing up hairballs, and the truth.
Using its wealth of experience in marketing, community-building, and game development from its portfolio of successful titles, Devcats aims to create and expand opportunities for talented indie teams. While the company will publish more than just cat-centric games, Feline Forensics and the Meowseum Mystery proved to be a purrfect fit for its first launch.
“It’s a pleasure to be working with Nobody Crown to bring another animal lover’s cat-centric vision to life,” says Fofiño, an orange cat who designs games for Devcats. “The game’s punny humor, ear-scratching puzzles, and jazzy noir style make it a cat-tastic edition to the detective game genre.”
Devcats is currently signing new cozy and wholesome projects to its label. The team is offering services and assistance with marketing, localization, music, game direction, and more. Interested parties are welcome to email the team at devcatspublisher@gmail.com.
