Storebound Demo Now Available with New Trailer Revealed at Indie Fan Fest

September 24th, 2025 - Embers, the indie developer behind Storebound, is excited to announce that the free demo of the co-op survival horror game is now available on Steam. Players can experience the first playable portion of the game, either solo or with up to two friends, as ordinary shoppers navigate an endless store and attempt to escape before the employees catch them.

In conjunction with the demo release, a brand-new trailer was unveiled as part of Indie Fan Fest, offering players a glimpse into the mall’s eerie environment, the cooperative gameplay mechanics, and the tone that sets Storebound apart.

The demo is available now on Steam, allowing players to jump in immediately and get an early look at the game. Feedback from players during this demo phase will help shape Storebound’s future.
