Kentum, a new sci-fi survival crafting metroidvania inspired by Terraria and Satisfactory, is officially launching on November 6th. But don’t worry, thanks to our snarky robotic companion ORB, you can play a fresh demo of the game, available now!
Set in the year 10,000, Kentum drops players into the role of Kent—a regular guy turned clone—tasked with rebuilding civilization from scratch. Guided (and occasionally roasted) by a snarky robot, players will:
Craft, farm, and automate their way from primitive tools to sprawling factories.
Classify flora and fauna in a world where knowledge is your most powerful survival tool.
Survive seasons, climate events, and hungry creatures that make every choice matter.
Uncover Earth’s forgotten secrets while kickstarting humanity’s second chance.
Survival, Science, and Sarcasm Await – Kentum Launches This November!
Warp through time in the brand new demo, packed with formidable foes, bountiful biomes, and lots of laughs
[Oceanside, California - September 24, 2025] — Part Terraria, Part Satisfactory, All Craftervania – Kentum, the upcoming survival adventure by Tlön Industries and V Publishing, is launching on Steam, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on November 6th, 2025! For those who can’t wait to jump into the futuristic dystopian bonanza, a brand new demo is available now. Jam-packed with new features, including fully voiced character dialogue, stylish new character customizations, and a new boss encounter of epic proportions. Begin building your home base and fulfilling your responsibilities as the last employed human on earth today, and if you can’t hack it, one of your clones sure will!
The new demo provides players with a panoramic view of everything Kentum has to offer. After waking up from an unusually long nap, Kent discovers that he’s the last human alive in the year 10,000. With nothing but a stick, a sarcastic tongue, and a quirky robot companion, it’s Kent’s duty to rebuild humanity from the ground up. However, while civilization booms, danger still looms — thankfully, you will always reclone!
The new Kentum demo includes voiced dialogue for both Kent and his robot sidekick, ORB, for the first time, along with new ways to customize Kent’s appearance — even though you’re the last man on earth, you still gotta dress to impress. Scan all of the surrounding flora and fauna to unlock new crafting recipes and test your survival skills in combat as you take on unfamiliar creatures.
Key features:
Survive… or Not! You’ll Be Cloned Anyways: Even though Kent will be revived endlessly, that doesn’t change the fact that dying is a major drag. You’ll need to gather and hunt for food, find new recipes, and polish your cooking skills. Building your own farms and vivariums is your ticket to a steady source of nourishment.
Explore, Scan, and Catalogue: Discover the wonders and the oddities of a vast, ever-changing world filled to the brim with fascinating flora, fauna, and climate events. Classify every animal, plant, and mineral in order to help you survive the passing seasons.
Craft it to the Limit: Use every material at your disposal to build your base. Start small by turning bone and wood into coal, machine scraps into sheets of metal, and slowly but surely grow your base into a full-blown resource-generating machine that can rival any factory in the world.
Build the Home Base of Your Dreams: Expand your home base and create an automated system to allow you to streamline and optimize your productions while you are off exploring.
Traverse Exotic Locales in Style: From vibrant jungles to desolate ruins, traverse post-apocalyptic Earth with your hoverboard, hang glider, grappling hook and more. It is up to you to maneuver with equal parts adventure and efficiency.
Kentum will officially launch on Steam, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on November 6th, 2025. Can’t wait to be the last human alive? No need, as aspiring base-building aficionados can jump into the brand new demo today! Keep up on all things Kentum by following the Tlön Industries team on X, YouTube, and joining the official Discord.
