Düren, Germany – August 14th 2025 — The wait is over: Dorfromantik, the award-winning peaceful strategy and puzzle game from Toukana Interactive, is now officially available on PlayStation and Xbox!
Following its critically acclaimed launch on PC and Nintendo Switch, Dorfromantik brings its soothing, tile-based world-building gameplay to a whole new audience. Console players can now immerse themselves in the relaxing experience of creating beautiful, ever-expanding landscapes - one tile at a time.
Developed by Toukana and brought to consoles in partnership with Headup, Dorfromantik invites players to craft charming villages, wind through rivers and forests, and discover secrets hidden in a tranquil, meditative atmosphere.
This launch marks the final step in bringing Dorfromantik to all major console platforms, completing its journey from a PC indie hit to a multiplatform favorite. The game has also been adapted into a successful board game and continues to grow its community of fans worldwide.
Meanwhile, Toukana and ClockStone are also hard at work on a mobile version of Dorfromantik. Unlike the 1:1 ports of the console versions, the mobile edition will be a reimagined, mobile-optimized experience, designed from the ground up for touchscreens.
Features of Dorfromantik include:
Building endless and beautiful landscapes
Unique mix of strategy and puzzle mechanics
Relaxing and calming gameplay
Idyllic village scenery
Strategic placement to beat the highscore
High replay value - every session is different
Many unlockable tiles and biomes
