Düren, Germany – July 24th 2025 — Headup and Toukana recently announced their partnership, working on the console versions of Dorfromantik. Now, it’s time to reveal the release date for the strategy puzzler. Fans won’t have to wait for too much longer: Dorfromantik will be hitting PlayStation and Xbox on August 14th, finally bringing the peaceful building strategy and puzzle game to all major console platforms.

Dorfromantik, Toukana’s debut title, launched for PC in 2022. Following the remarkable success of the idyllic puzzler, where players build a charming, ever-expanding village by placing tiles, the game was later released on Nintendo Switch and even adapted into an analogue board game. It was only a matter of time before it made its way to PlayStation and Xbox as well.

Dorfromatik fans can also look forward to the mobile version of the game that's currently in the making. While the upcoming remaining console versions will be ports of the PC game, the mobile version, that is being developed in collaboration with ClockStone, will be a re-imagined and mobile-optimized edition of the game.

Features of Dorfromantik include:

Building endless and beautiful landscapes

Unique mix of strategy and puzzle mechanics

Relaxing and calming gameplay

Idyllic village scenery

Strategic placement to beat the highscore

High replay value - every session is different

Many unlockable tiles and biomes
Original Artstyle with handpainted boardgame fee
