The door to Melusine’s castle is clearly one of them.
On the occasion of Steam Next Fest, which began on February 23, SUPER AC studio unveils the playable demo of Eona, its dark and disturbing horror game. An experience to discover for free on Steam — but only for the duration of the festival.
At the heart of Eona stands the castle of the terrifying fairy Melusine. Forget bright fairy tales and benevolent creatures: here, the walls whisper, the corridors seem to breathe, and every door you open may regret letting you in.
Melusine is not the kind of fairy who grants wishes.
She watches. She waits.
And her castle is a trap.
The demo allows players to take their first steps into this unsettling fortress, experience the game’s core mechanics, and get a taste of the oppressive atmosphere that seeps through every stone of the building. Between exploration, constant tension, and buried mysteries, Eona creates a lingering unease that won’t easily leave you.
But beware:
The demo will only be accessible during Steam Next Fest.
When the festival ends, the castle doors will close.
And Melusine does not like those who hesitate for too long.
“We wanted to create a twisted fairy tale figure — unsettling, almost intimate,” explains the SUPER AC team. “Melusine is at the center of everything. The castle is an extension of her. And players will quickly understand that they are not welcome.”
