Debut Demo for Emotional Narrative Adventure, The House of Hikmah, Enters the Awe-Inspiring Realm on PC Today
The House of Hikmah, a narrative-driven 3D adventure exploring grief and legacy from the AAA veterans (Star Wars: Battlefront, Journey, Life is Strange, more) at newly formed indie developer Lunacy Studios, brings a hopeful, fully-narrated slice of story to PC with its debut demo, available today.

Step into a beautiful world, first shown at The PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted 2025, brimming with culture and wonder. Explore breathtaking landscapes in the House of Wisdom as the young and determined Maya, seeking solace and answers after the unexpected death of her father.
Accompany Maya as she meets a variety of scholars inspired by historical figures from the Islamic Golden age. Her father’s former colleagues have a wealth of wisdom to share. Engage in meaningful interactions, soak in their scientific and philosophical teachings, and learn from their experiences as they navigate their own healing journeys.
Traverse the mystical, larger than life realm using a remarkable heirloom Maya’s father left for her. The device transmutes matter in objects to solve thoughtful puzzles and progress through the narrative.
The road to healing is not easy, and Maya must confront her deepest emotions, or risk succumbing to the grief like many others before her in this evocative, hopeful, and nonviolent adventure.
The House of Hikmah will launch on PC via Steam in Q1 2026, featuring English and Arabic voiceover localization with talents such as Ben Turner, Talal Karkouti, and more, as well as support for French, Spanish (LATAM), and Simplified Chinese text languages.
