ICARUS: Console Edition Delayed until March

We want to share an important update from GRIP Studios regarding the upcoming release of ICARUS: Console Edition.
After careful consideration, the developers have decided to move the release date for ICARUS: Console Edition back a few weeks, from 26th February to 26th March. This additional time will allow the team to further refine the game’s experience on consoles, rather than launch it with these known issues. We’ve included the full community-facing statement below.
As a result, the review embargo for ICARUS: Console Edition has been updated, to Monday 23rd March. Keys for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series platforms remain available, so if you’ve yet to drop shop onto the planet and fight for survival, then please submit your code request here: https://requestkey.net/ICARUSCE
Furthermore, www.reddit.com/r/survivalgaming will be hosting a Developer AMA with ICARUS developers Rocketwerkz and Grip Digital about their upcoming PC and Console launches, and delays, at 22.00 UTC Tuesday (17th February).
Here's the statement that's just gone live to the community:
“We want to share an important update regarding the release of ICARUS: Console Edition.
After careful consideration, we’ve decided to move the release date to Thursday 26 March. This additional month will allow us to polish the gameplay and ensure the best possible launch.
While the game is in a strong and stable state, we’ve identified a few areas that need further refinement. Rather than launch with known issues, we believe taking these extra weeks is the right decision for the game and players.
Our team is fully focused on polishing the experience and game content to ensure it plays as intended across Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
Thank you for sticking with us, we’re looking forward to welcoming you to Icarus soon.”
Kind regards,
Jon
