Utopia Must Fall, a unique vector-powered arcade base defender has released another major udpate focusing on performance, Steam Deck support, quality-of-life features, graphics options, audio improvements and new content. (Full Changelog)

The game incorporates elements from classsic arcade shooters, tower defense, roguelikes and beyond, all neatly packaged into a laser-sharp bullet-purgatory arcade frenzy about Earth's last metropolis defending itself against a mysterious alien invasion. It has overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam, and was also nominated for Excellence in Audio at the most recent Independent Games Festival in San Francisco.
It's built with the V99 Engine, a low-footprint, high-performance vector-based fantasy console co-created by Pixeljam and Datassette, that imagines an alternate reality where vector-scan games continued to evolve into modern times. More info at V99.systems.
