New Stardeus Update Expands on Love, Conflict, and Stories
STOCKHOLM — October 16, 2025 — Today Paradox Arc and Kodo Linija released a major update for their game, Stardeus, currently available in Steam Early Access. The Story and Drama Update introduces new levels of narrative depth, social complexity, and emotional storytelling to the colony simulation experience.
The update delivers a new layer of immersion through a completely rebuilt story generation system. Designed from the ground up, this modular and flexible engine allows for a vast range of dynamic story events and much of the new content in this update would not have been possible without this foundation.
Complementing the new story system is the introduction of the Drama System, which brings colonist interactions to life. Colonists now chat casually, form friendships, argue, fall in love, and even marry, with every relationship shaping the social fabric of the colony. Pets are also part of the emotional ecosystem, forming bonds and reacting to the colony’s events alongside their human companions.
The update also introduces a revamped raid management system. Raids now follow dynamic schedules influenced by colony strength, recent losses, and other in-game factors. Several new raid types have been added, creating more variety and challenge for players.
