About Yunyun Syndrome!? Rhythm Psychosis

“Yunyun Syndrome!? Rhythm Psychosis” is a rhythm adventure game about a psychotic hikikomori girl - also an avid anonymous poster - who corrupts the world with her severe brain rot from listening to too many denpa songs, a type of Japanese music that is intentionally strange and catchy.

A Multi-Ending Cute Psychological Horror

Qtie, the protagonist, is a hikikomori girl whose brain has gone a little (very) fuzzy from the pain of reality and an excess of 2D love. As she grooves to denpa songs, her “Yunyun-brained” posts begin to twist the world itself.

Q. Why did she become a hikikomori?

Q. How does anonymous online posting lead to world destruction?

Q. Does a happy ending exist for a degenerate otaku?

The answers to those “Q”s lie somewhere between delusion and denpa psychosis. Experience more than 30 denpa songs and multiple endings in this dizzying tale of obsession and ecstasy.

All Playable Songs Are “Denpa Songs”

Every track in Yunyun Syndrome!? Rhythm Psychosis is pure denpa. The lineup includes iconic songs such as “sakuranbokissu~bakuhatsudamo~n~,” “Miko Miko Nurse – Ai no Theme,” and “Kanbu de Tomatte sugu Tokeru Kyoki no Udongein.”

Characters

Qtie (VA: Nanahira): The main character. Real life hit her too hard, knocking a few screws in her head loose.

As a hikikomori she doesn’t leave the house, but instead spreads her love of Yunyun on social media. The denpa songs acts as a fuel for her to cook the copypastas.

Yunyun (VA: Haruko Momoi): The 2D character Qtie worships.

An angelic devil who speaks to Qtie through the computer screen—though whether Yunyun is real or only in Qtie’s imagination remains a mystery.

Copypastas with Yunyun-infused madness may soon engulf the whole world.
