Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault Evolves Ahead of Early Access Launch
Player feedback leads to major improvements across shopkeeping, dungeons, and more — and you can try them in a new Steam playtest starting October 10th!
Warsaw, Poland, October 7th, 2025 - The vault is changing shape, and it’s all thanks to you. After hearing from thousands of brave merchants during Steam Next Fest, Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is getting key updates ahead of its Early Access launch on November 19th.

Shopkeeping, your way
Your shop remains the heart of the game, and once again - it’s truly yours to run. One of the most requested features returns: the ability to set your own prices for every relic - a small detail that carries big weight. Fans made it clear: pricing strategy is a key part of the fantasy.
But there’s more. Shops now have recurring customers, a calendar system that affects relic demand, and decorations that grant gameplay-altering perks. Commerce just got cleverer.
A smarter backpack
The backpack system has also been reworked. Instead of showing fixed prices during dungeon runs, relics now carry a quality value, which translates into price multipliers back at your shop. This subtle shift restores the thrill of discovery and reinforces the role of experimentation, while keeping the beloved inventory logic puzzle intact.
Dungeons with deeper choices
A new mapping system adds layers of strategy and mystery to every expedition. Each run reveals parts of the path ahead, helping players plan their route, while keeping some tiles hidden until discovered. Risk-reward paths, secrets, and quests await - bringing back that sense of wonder and surprise that defined the original game.
