Digital Gamebook RPG “Marisa of Liartop Mountain” Unveils New Chapters in Updated Demo June 6

New content arriving ahead of Steam Next Fest
 
Shrine Maiden Reimu’s search for the missing Marisa leads to a living storybook. Live through the book’s every word, and write the next page through a combination of decisions and dice rolls in a branching choice-based adventure.

In the updated demo, a cast of familiar Touhou heroines joins the journey. Tug on new narrative threads in a refreshed experience of Chapter One as four members of the Scarlet Devil Mansion — Remilia, Sakuya, Patchouli, and Flandre — offer playful input on Reimu’s every move.

Navigate Reimu’s unpredictable skill advancement. Influence her progression in four different directions depending on which Scarlet Devil Mansion member’s advice is followed, and unlock special dice while upgrading her skillset.

Venture through vibrant, bizarre worlds, from eccentric libraries to peculiar circuses, facing choices at every turn. Combat or evasion alters the journey, branching the story toward multiple endings.

Heed their commentary on Reimu’s decisions throughout her search for Marisa. Reimu’s new council also brings interaction-based opportunities to level up her powers. Following their suggestions can lead to special rewards… but where else will their guidance lead?
