Christ Centered Gamer

I tried for the first time in a long while to play some tekkit today, but it lags so bad that its impossible to play.
Ordinary minecraft runs fine, so its not my pc.
Btw, after the latest minecraft launcher updates earlier this year, I experience much lag, in the nether only, in standard minecraft singleplayer.

Does someone have any tips about why?

Hmmm, I haven't used Tekkit in a long time,
What option are you selecting when you start the Tekkit launcher?

Lag in the Nether on singleplayer?
Do you also get lag there on multiplayer?

Do you know if any of the mods in the modpack affect the nether explicitly?

I used attack of the b team, but tekkit (the one With blue letters and a rocket) also had trouble.

No I get little lag in the nether here, not any more than in the main world here. But in my singleplayer its bad, and it all started after the minecraft launcher we got at 1.6.4 update. ( i scrolled and searched a bit and found it, remember it started after that launcher update)

No.. but it was an issue in all worlds in Attack of the B team, it started right before I joined this server, and now it lags 5 times worse and Attack of the b team is nearly unplayable for me.
