I've had a persistent cold/cough for months and chalked it up to living with 3 kids (petri dishes). Lately I have been coughing more and have had trouble breathing and sleeping at night. I went to the doctor to get it looked into and after examining my nose she knew right away that I was suffering from sinus and allergy complications. As suspected I have bronchitis too.

So what can cause the allergic reactions? Well....we now have to cats and I have a sneaking suspicion there's mold under the tile in the bathroom I sleep a few feet away from. Both issues need to be addressed. I feel bad that we have rescued two cats that we love and love us back dearly...I'm also concerned for my daughter's (who also shares some allergies and congestion) and my health. I have scheduled allergist appointments for the first week of November.

Please keep us in prayer and help us discern the best course of action.

Whoa. Will definitely be praying, my mom had bronchitis and I hated seeing her like that. May God bring healing and restoration. May you have a rapid and supernatural recovery, you and your family.

About the possible mold, hmm that may need to be looked at fast. If the first thing you would suspect is "possible mold", than its a good indicator that it just may be the cause.

slowly making progress,haven't had breathing issues but still coughing stuff out of my lungs :\

My lungs are much clearer but my nose is runny and stuffy today....I think I have a regular cold now.

According to my allergist visit my lungs are good and we can keep the cats and dog even though my daughter and I tested positive for allergies to them (in general). I just have to get better about washing the sheets on a regular basis in hot water etc.

I just think my immune system is down in general and can use some prayers to stay healthy and not need to use the inhaler very often.

We did find mold in our bathroom, here are some pics and our family is all using one bathroom now...kinda tough

Thanks for the update!! Whoa.. looks like I bit of work needs to be done... I hate that mold sometimes seems like a never ending fountain... but you'll get it.

And those cats... are way too cute.. lol Do they distract you and make you procrastinate often? haha ^-^
