Are kinda paradoxical. They're some of the most torturous things in the world but are also my favorite part of the swim season. The torture is from being nervous wondering if you'll do all your flip-turns correctly and stuff like that and from all the waiting. I don't really know why I like them.

So that means they're good and bad at the same time? How does that work?

Well, they're really fun because you don't really have to do anything so you just talk to friends, play your iPod and pull your hair out trying to beat Perplexus. Even though you bring stuff to do and are occcupied for a while, you get bored at some point. Also, you get kinda nervous about your events (especially when swimming against a good team (like Stone Gate =P)).

So let me get this straight; you don't do any actual swimming at swim meets? Then what's the point of even having them? You can talk to your friends and fail at Perplexus any time you like.

You do swim. That's all the stuff between your events.

Never heard of a love/hate relationship?

Good and bad are merely shades of perception.

That's deep for a nonsense thread.
