I'd much rather have Starcraft period. That's one strategy game that I actually cared for. <3

Looks good.
What doesn't look so good is the fact that is was split into three games.

Haha! Me too. I've never played the first one, and my cousin let me borrow the second one (still have not returned it after almost 2 years.
) and it was really good, for what I played.
If you could make any game, with any budget, what would it be?

That question would take forever to respond to in depth, so I'll give you the short version.
I want to make a game that is a class-based action/RPG, set in a sci-fi universe.
Very dark universe. (Think Warhammer 40,000 dark)
Think Mass Effect for combat, since that's the closest I can think of.
The classes are completely different styles of play.
Security is your standard FPS style of play.
Officer is essentially that with squad tactics and ship control, but reduced weapon capabilities.
Engineer is a different boat altogether. Instead of fighting enemies directly, you build devices to interfere with their weapons and/or deflect weapon fire. Then you use tasers at close range, or use carefully placed explosives to trap enemies. Plus a hacking component that includes hardware and software.
The story I have is a bit generic, but I would hope that the atmosphere and gameplay would make up for it.
