There comes a point where you just can't eat any more eggrolls and cheeseburgers?
And do I keep calling egg rolls, burritos? O_o
Go ask the lizard-guy something....

Eventyally, yes. Your stomach will become too full. That's why you need to pace yourself.Chozon1 wrote:There comes a point where you just can't eat any more eggrolls and cheeseburgers?

I don't know why you'd do that. Egg rolls more closely resemble taquitos, rather than burritos. Either that, or you stuff your egg rolls more than I've seen (or don't put enough in your burritosChozon1 wrote:And do I keep calling egg rolls, burritos? O_o

It's necessary to have just before one of those last minute saves that is punctuated by a rising crescendo to the soundtrack.Chozon1 wrote: Impending dread?
Or the unavoidable disaster that is Mondays.
I've got a couple of game reviews waiting in the queue, but other than that, most of my writing efforts have been focused on rewrites and edits. I do need to write up some information on characters to appear in the novel I'll write during NaNo this year, though.ScotchRobbins wrote:What have you been writing recently?

Ew. Monday. I have figured out though, that while I don't dislike my job, I dislike having a job. If that makes sense.

It does make sense. It would be nice to be independently wealthy and not have to work all the time. However, in order to get that wealthy, you need to work hard to obtain that wealth. So it's a double-edged sword.Chozon1 wrote:Ew. Monday. I have figured out though, that while I don't dislike my job, I dislike having a job. If that makes sense.
I've heard that one of the secrets to success is to figure out what you like doing, then find out how to get paid for doing it. However, sometimes when you get paid for what you like to do, then it stops being fun. So it can be a challenge to make money, that's for sure!
No, thanks. I'm not terribly fond of peach soda.Chozon1 wrote:Peach soda?

I think it's actually the constant schedule, and perhaps the bosses. I like freedom to be random. To take a nap, or take on a new project. I can't do that anymore. The boss...I like my bosses. But I don't like it when one in particular starts to act like a boss. XD I don't mind, and even enjoy most of the time, working hard.

Sounds like you're not terribly fond of a schedule or routine. If you stick with it, you'll get better.Chozon1 wrote:I think it's actually the constant schedule, and perhaps the bosses. I hate them almost as bad as I hate headaches. I can't eat very well with a sore throat!Chozon1 wrote:Sore throats?

Not to be contradictory, but...it won't get better. XD I've hated schedules since I can remember. Even the ones I've held for months at a time. I just dislike schedules. I'll get over it. Probably. But I don't think I'll ever be OK with it. Or even mildly un-not happy over it.

They can be fun. I've been paid for some of my artwork years and years ago (for a long out-of-print, self-published RPG called "Crossroads") but I haven't sold anything in a long time. Then again, I haven't really been looking... I've thought about it, though. I've considered trying to make an account and try to sell things at Portrait Adoptions, for example, but I don't think my stuff is good enough. Maybe I'm too picky about my own works....Chozon1 wrote: Freelance art projects?

You know, I've never actually done this. Seems like it would be a relatively easy costume to throw together, but it's never been one that I've done.Chozon1 wrote:Dressing as a jedi?
One Halloween I did go as "Weird Al" Yankovic, though....

(Not me, but the style I tried to base my costume on.)
