Spoken like a true former retail worker.

Can you forgive me for un-intentionally insulting the Tomb Raider games?

I can't really find an example of why people are good. Probably a reason, but the important thing is, get a job as a telemarketer.

What do you think?

I worked at a call center once as a tech support guy, and then as an "account specialist." It was a terrible thing... but the pay was good. So then the real question becomes, if the pay is good, will you do it? And the answer for me is no. Same thing with telemarketing.

In a year? Ooohh... um... probably upwards of seventy or eighty.

I'd be Fake Plastic Trees by Radiohead. No... that's my favorite song right now. I'd be "I Am the Highway" by Audioslave.

Yes, I live in Colorado... I'd be crazy not have been skiing or snowboarding. That said... I hate it. ;)

Why does the scott hate snowboarding?

And, where can I read more of your writing(s)?

I'm terrible at snowboarding... and hate the snow. And the cold.

Well... it depends on what your tolerance is for profanity and dark subject matter. If you're okay with some of that stuff... think... Stephen King, from what Nix tells me... if you're okay with that, PM me. I'll send you something.

You should enjoy the snow. From what the scientists tell us, it won't be in existence very long.

*sigh* Is someone going to just Smite me some day?

Also, how bad was the call center job? I'm thinking about taking an over the web one.

Flexible schedule, no need to drive, ETC.

The call center job was terrible. Great benefits... great pay... terrible conditions. It really depends on the type of call center. Is it tech support? Customer service? That sort of thing drives the people that you deal with. Tech support is horrible... you deal with the people who have no idea how to plug something in. I'm not even kidding.

And... I'm the type of person who needs the ocean. I can appreciate the snow... but I don't think it's going to disappear in my lifetime.

Why would someone smite you, man?

I dunno exactly. I think customer service/tech support. I just read the site a few times without sending away for the important info. I'd need a good quality mic, which is the first reason I haven't looked deeply into it.

With Christmas coming however, I'm starting to wonder how far I'll go in getting a job.

Anyway, I've just always wondered if someone wasn't going to just blow up and hit me. ^_^
