Sure. I understood what you meant in that post, btw.Deepfreeze32 wrote:Can you forgive me for un-intentionally insulting the Tomb Raider games?
I worked at a call center once as a tech support guy, and then as an "account specialist." It was a terrible thing... but the pay was good. So then the real question becomes, if the pay is good, will you do it? And the answer for me is no. Same thing with telemarketing.Chozon1 wrote:I can't really find an example of why people are good. Probably a reason, but the important thing is, get a job as a telemarketer.
What do you think?
In a year? Ooohh... um... probably upwards of seventy or eighty.Nix wrote:How many movies would you say you watch in a year?
I'd be Fake Plastic Trees by Radiohead. No... that's my favorite song right now.Saker wrote:If you were a song, which song would you be?
Yes, I live in Colorado... I'd be crazy not have been skiing or snowboarding. That said... I hate it.tobymacdude wrote:Ever been snowboarding?
I'm terrible at snowboarding... and hate the snow. And the cold.Trudogger wrote:Why does the scott hate snowboarding?
And, where can I read more of your writing(s)?
The call center job was terrible. Great benefits... great pay... terrible conditions. It really depends on the type of call center. Is it tech support? Customer service? That sort of thing drives the people that you deal with. Tech support is horrible... you deal with the people who have no idea how to plug something in. I'm not even kidding.Chozon1 wrote:You should enjoy the snow. From what the scientists tell us, it won't be in existence very long.
*sigh* Is someone going to just Smite me some day?
Also, how bad was the call center job? I'm thinking about taking an over the web one.
Flexible schedule, no need to drive, ETC.
