So I have perhaps the stupidest song that was ever awesome stuck in my head: Iggy Pop's "Cry for Love." Not only does it have the whole Phil Collins-ey echoing drum beats, but it has an awesome guitar solo and the dumbest lyrics I've heard outside of "My Sharona." Oh yeah. Check it out. It'll get stuck in your head, too.
Gated reverb ftw. :P

sounds...interesting.

My Dad managed to fix my ancient of day's laptop. It runs 98, and although slower than mid December seems to run fine.

I can type, I CAN WRITE!!!

Wait, wait. Hold the phones. You said that mid-December is slow. Au contraire. Mid-December is insane, man. I don't know if you remember this, but there's a little thing called Christmas, and right before that, well, that's mid-December. So everyone's rushing about trying to find gifts and fruitcakes to give to everyone else. The malls are clogged with fat people, the parking lots with SUVs and minivans. Sales clerks deal with stupid questions and then go in the back rooms and either cry or start bitterly mocking the customers who asked the questions in a very profane fashion.

Yes, mid-December is slow. In Bizarro World.

That part about the sales clerks bitterly mocking customers sounds so familiar..

Scott, what the heck is the Age of Aquarius?

Well... it's a song from the musical Hair. And it's also an astrological age, which gets into stuff that's very weird and that I don't (and kind of refuse to) understand.
