I've been playing SMW for 5 days in a row (with sleep & food of course) and I haven't heard the "Let's-a-go!".iamscott wrote:No, I distinctly remember the "Let's-a go!" from Super Mario World. However... they've all blurred into a single game of Mario jumping goodness.
And wow. I just realized how long I've been playing Mario games, in one form or another.

Alright, fine. It was Mario 64 that first used it, and then it was added into the reissues on the GBA.

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

That was the stupidest argument I've ever heard... I'm not sure if it even qualifies as anything more than the ramblings of several lunatics...

Now you guys know what I do all the time.
Seriously...
Me: "Did you see Spider-Man 3?"
My boss: "Yeah, it was pretty good."
Me: "That movie was terrible."
My boss: "Terrible? No. I'd give it a seven? What would you give it?"
Me: "A three."
My boss: "A three? Why?"
Me: "Because I thought the movie was horrible. That stupid emo scene... the acting... everything."
My boss: "Huh. Well... um... did you see Transformers?"
Me: "Yes. That movie sucked."
My boss: "What?"
Me: "It was the regular stupid Michael Bay junk."
My boss: "It was awesome! How could you say that?"
Me: "Because... it sucked. Oh, and I saw Vanilla Sky."
My boss: "What did you think?"
Me: "I thought it was an excellent, inherently flawed film."
My boss: "Flawed? How so?"
Me: "Too many inconsistencies. I couldn't believe Penelope Cruz's performance."
My boss: "Penelope Cruz was awesome in Vanilla Sky!"
Me: "No, she wasn't. I'd give it an 8."
And on and on like that for 8 hours. Except... it would span every form of entertainment known to man and likely be strewn with more profanities than I'd like to admit.

I liked transformers, but I didn't like Spiderman 3. Or 2. I sort or liked the first one.

I think I'm gonna flip on the telly, and then wrestle with Jimmy.
