You wouldn't regard breaking the law as a criminal act?

Apparently, successful enough to conquer the entire Earth. His motivation...was to conquer the earth. Which to be fair, was a big goal.

For petty misdemeanors like speeding or parking violations, I wouldn't call an offender a criminal. Even if they were a repeat offender. Our society hasn't become that totalitarian yet....

I've heard of it, but never played it. However, I've been kicking around the idea of writing a novel where a captain is ordered to find the edge of the universe, just to get him out of the way. Of what, I'm not sure - it's still an idea that's being formed....

You're just saying that because we haven't found it! What are you, one of these nutcases who thinks the universe is round? That's crazy talk!

A fun way to cool off a beverage! But not too many - otherwise there isn't enough room for your soda or what have you.

Logically, I'm not sure how there can't be an edge to space. But science isn't logical all the time.

Are a real pain in the ... well, you know.
Generally it's a sign that I shouldn't be eating any more. Or that I shouldn't even start. Stomach pains are quite annoying, but at least I have a wonderful wife who can diagnose the problems and quickly come up with a solution.
Like "don't eat so many cookies next time!"
Sometimes she doesn't make any sense....

The Multiverse theory?

I think it's a really fun idea! That there may be numerous parallel universes out there is a very cool concept.
I had one idea for a story that involved these based around the idea that each decision that we make has the potential to spin off a different parallel universe. But I haven't decided what to do with the concept (e.g. make it into a larger story) so it's just been filed away in the back of my head for now.

I think it's a cool idea but I don't know what to think about deciding if it's really true.
So it's like a big touchscreen that plays music based upon how a variety of shaped blocks are placed on it? It's an interesting concept, but I'm not terribly impressed.
Now if it could be configured to adapt to a variety of games, that would be pretty cool. For example, tap a menu to convert it into a chess board, or backgammon. You could even have advanced settings in order to play tabletop games on it, like D&D or Shadowrun. Something like that would impress me....

That sounds like it needs to be invented.
What's your favorite cheese?

I've found something close - someone mounted an LCD projector to the ceiling to project down onto a table. They could then hook up their laptop and project down the game board onto the table. With D&D, they used Photoshop to remove different parts of the map (using transparency layers) as the players made their way through the dungeon. If I ever had a game room, I'd want a set-up like that myself.

I have a particular fondness for muenster. Although in our cheese experiment this past year, we also had a Wensleydale that was blended with cranberries and (I think) cinnamon. That one was very tasty, but not really one that you could use for cooking, for obvious reasons. I dont think it was this exact one, but you'll get the idea.

Now see, that's amazing. That would rock hardcore. It could make even card games better.
Yay for muenster. ^_^ It's so tasty.
What are your thoughts on Limburger?

It was a cool setup. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the Web site where the guy put it together now. I thought I had linked it over to ArcticFox, and for some reason I've never bookmarked it. Next time I find it I really need to do that....

It's been a long time since I've tried it, but I seem to recall it being a bit too potent for my tastes at the time. Of course, my tastes have changed over time, too - I used to hate spicy foods, but any more I've been leaning towards more of the spice than milder options. I'm not completely gung-ho about it - I'm not going to start eating jalapeƱo poppers at this point - but I'm more willing to give spicier foods a try than I used to be.

Potent...good word. XD I tried it once. I couldn't do it. My dad loved it though. O_o
