Reviving the topic. ;)

Oh, billions of dollars, is there no problem you can't solve?

Well, it can't solve...the question of how many planets there are in the universe! Ha!

I would, but that's like trading one super-strict parent for another.. (And in the military you can get sent to prison for a dozen years for breaking the rules..)

You mean the CCGR family?

*sniffle*

J/k, buddy. :P

Well, I don't really know what to say... Just that if you focus on the negative of your family, not much good will come out of it. (And believe me, I know how hard it is. My family has their problems, and I've often been really negative about it, to the point of wishing I was dead.) Or...you can focus on the positive, even if there practically isn't any. I'd have to assume that you're parents love you, and they do these things out of totally overblown fear for you; not that that makes it right, of course.

yeah CK is right... You can be sure of one thing atleast.
They dont do it because they hate you .. they do it because they Love you!

That's really no excuse..

Lemme see.. I probably have about three thousand in my bank account by now. Planned to get another .22(pistol). Oh, but wait! My precious overprotective overcontrolling micromanaging parents don't want me to buy one!

Well, there goes that.

No, it isn't an excuse. There is no excuse for what they do. But there is a reason, and that reason is love and fear. But I do know that anybody who focuses on the bad things will be driven into misery (again, I am speaking from experience, and I am not condemning you). They do love you, Laz. I understand how hard it is to understand... For years I thought my dad didn't love me. How could he of done the things he did to us if he loved us? But God has given me compassion for him to understand that he has let fear rule his life.

I tend to only think about it when I'm using my computer... luckily.

It's impossible to change yourself from pessimist to optimist, is it not?

Actually, it is. Well, we can't change ourselves. Only God can change us for the better. We through God can do it, but by ourselves...impossible. God is a God of the impossible, as the Bible says. It also says "We are more than conquerers in Christ Jesus," and "We can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." So, yes, it is possible. And God wants us to be optimistic - why would he want us to be pessimistic? It would certainly be for the better, too.

And believe me, I've always struggled with pessimism... One of the big reasons I've been struggling with depression.

Do you like fudge, CAHF?

Hmm... I normally only like a couple bites, because it's so unbearably sweet. Peanut butter fudge is delicious, though.

What about...pudding? Do you like pudding, Laz?

I love it. Lemon pudding especially.

We just started carrying peanut butter fudge cookies at the store.
(They go off the shelves like a greased pig off an icy hill)
