No, it's hard to describe actually. You have an 8x8 grid, and you have to match same colored gems to attack the enemy, heal yourself, use magic, ETC. The more gems you manage to match, the stronger your attack. It's fun, if a bit simple.

Batman, of course. Batman is prepared for anything. I've even heard one theory that the reason why Batman - a rich guy in a funny suit - is allowed into the Justice League is because he has a contingency plan to take out any of the other members, just in case they turn evil. Yes, even Superman.

So if a video game character suddenly sprung to life in Gotham City - or, on the flipside, Batman got sucked into the Metal Gear games, don't you think Batman, of all superheroes, would be ready for something like that?

The latter.

It can be an amusing break from an otherwise serious series. I also know that my kids especially enjoy those types of one-off episodes - from My Little Ponies to Super Hero Squad. Even Star Trek: The Next Generation did that once (well, OK, they were little kids, not babies... but it was still worth it for watching Jean-Luc Picard throw a temper tantrum!)

However, an entire series based around that concept would quickly get dull. How many jokes about changing the Hulk's diaper do you need before it gets tired?

I think that Batman could win... but only if he could be in control of the situation. Given Wolvie's heightened senses, Logan's best bet would be to try to ambush Bats before Batman knew he was there. Otherwise, Batman might be able to take him - we've seen in other comics that Wolverine can die if subjected to massive enough damage (in the original "Days of Future Past," a sentinel was able to kill Wolverine by hitting him with some form of beam that scoured the flesh from his bones. Likewise, in the "Age of Apocalypse" storyline, it was revealed that Wolverine only had one hand thanks to a full-on blast from Cyclops. If Scott Summers had been aiming at Wolverine's neck instead....) So Wolverine may be tough to kill, but he isn't invincible. Given enough time, I think Batman could win... the challenge would be for Bats to live long enough to think of something - time that I doubt Wolverine would be willing to give him.

(Although, thinking about it, another solution might be to somehow get Wolverine to collide with Rogue's exposed flesh - even a moment's contact may be enough to degrade Wolverine's healing factor to make him especially vulnerable....)

On a related note, is it possible to know too much about comic book characters?

Who is your favorite comic book character, and why?

My list is short, but Quicksilver tends to be at the top of the list. Partially because he's got the same superpower I wish I had (super speed), but also because of his personality.

Quicksilver has a short temper and a rather bad attitude when dealing with other people, and one of the main reasons was revealed very nicely years ago (after one crossover series where Strife abducted Scott and Jean Grey). The members of X-Factor had to speak with a therapist after the events of that adventure, and revealed some of their personalities and backstories. Asked about his attitude, Quicksilver asked the therapist if he's ever been in a line where the person ahead of you spent forever digging the change out of her wallet, then counting the change, thinking about what she may have forgotten on her list, and otherwise slowing everything down. I'm sure that even we, as readers, could relate to that.

Now imagine if the entire world was filled with people like that, and you are the only person who moves as a normal speed. It really explained why Quicksilver tended to be so irritable all the time in a very nice, concise story.

The Hulk and the Lizard tend to be ones I like as well, because they are sort of a comic version of "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," and it's interesting to see these types of conflicts depicted in a comic format. And incidentally, I hated the way the Lizard was depicted in "The Amazing Spider-Man." The Lizard is supposed to be animalistic, barely sentient, to serve as a contrast to Dr. Curt Connor's brilliant mind - not some scaly mastermind determined to take over the world.

I think they used the Ultimate Spider-man version of the Lizard. In fact, that whole movie felt more Ultimate flavored, to me. I liked it.

Also, I've totally read Days of Future Past. I was gonna be like "BUT WAIT", and then you said it. XD
