I don't think I've ever read one. However, after taking a class about film noir in college, I do have respect for the genre, and I've certainly read the occasional pulp detective novel. (The Maltese Falcon was required reading in one of my classes - and yes, that was the first film we watched in that film noir class, too!)

We've brought up film noir. Archangel should be here any second now.

I thought he was out of town, actually.

It's a lie!
Actually, I do like cake. Especially with lots of frosting.

Indeed. In fact, I've found that some numbers can be quite irrational.

Not a fan - they make me woozy. When I painted, I typically used acrylics, though, so I didn't have to deal with fumes too often - just when I was using sealant on the minis afterwards.

I was spraying something for my sister, and...whew. Just about took a nap. XD
Ever read the OG Avengers?

They're sharp!
Actually, I tend to prefer pencil over ink. But Sharpies do have their uses. For example, when you're labeling canned jams and fruit, they can't be beat!

I ... don't think I've heard of the OG Avengers. Are they related to the
Great Lakes Avengers?

Agh...every time I start believing that Marvel is better than DC in every way, something like that happens. >_>
I was actually talking about the original Avengers comics. I was just being gangsta.
Some days, you need a nap before bed time?

The GLA (or whatever they're called now) actually serve as a bit of comic relief for the Marvel universe. Because hey, not every character can be angsty all the time.
Plus, Squirrel Girl is awesome.

There have been days like that. Especially after working hard all morning.
