If you're going to seriously take up a Star Trek, go with DS9. It's less "I am a human Federation member, and so superior to you in every way. And so humble too", and more "Stuff happens; even in the future".

There's this place that is near my house called Bar-B-Q Village and it serves Indo-Pak. I have eaten there once but after I tried their stuff, I decided that I don't like Indo-Pak.
