Loving it so far, combat feels awkward to me though. I need to get used to it.

Shadow the Hedgehog.
Most of my earlier complaints were resolved, actually. The controls just took time to get used to and the camera issue is something built into the game. You can't really maneuver it while climbing. Which is annoying, but not as much.
I have to kill Sonic now though. :\ Hard to work up the will power to kill a childhood hero. XD

Resident Evil.
Oh biff. O_O It's not mind numbingly terrifying (yet)...but it ain't Mario either. XD
I'm finding the controls manageable, but what's throwing me is the completely odd combo of horror action and puzzle solving. It boggles mah mind. So far, rather fun. A bit gory, and I'm not even two hours in. Stuck on a puzzle. I'm more tempted to look at a walk through on this than I am at, say, Mario or Metroid, but the only thing I've looked up so far is how to get the best ending. Because I deplore going through a game the first time and getting a bad ending. For some it may drive them to complete the game again, for me it sours the experience entirely...
Playing as Jill. Which, as far as I remember, means stronger weapons and more item space, but less health...I may be wrong. Also, since I haven't found an item box yet, I'm lugging around stuff. :\

Super fun, but it started crashing, sadface. I'm think it's caused by the sheer volume of my playtime today. So, I'm letting it cool down. XD

Resident Evil.
It...it stood back up.

X2
Expected it...but not until WAAAAAAAAAAY later into the game. XD My mom walked by my room and I was like "The thing I killed...didn't stay that way", and she was like "Yep. Not coming into your room." Plus a stupid dog nearly tore my arm off and I had to run through half the mansion with very little health.
Need a shotty badleh. I've got kerosene and a lighter, but I don't know how much longer I am going to be able to rely on my handgun. I've got around 20-30 bullets for it, but still. That's not very much when you consider that, to my knowledge, they don't regenerate.
I'm not using a walk-through, but I am mighty tempted so as to not waste ammo and be forced to run through a good portion of the game. I already accidentally used two defensive knives on the same zombie. Which is actually the thing that bothers and intrigues me the most. Lack of ammo. I've played maybe two to three hours now, and I've expended, around 60-80 9mm parabellum rounds. The same time into RE4, I'd expended triple that (easily), along with numerous shotgun and sniper bullets, and a half dozen grenades. Give me a handgun and a two clips and I'll be fairly nervous taking on 3-4 zombies. Give me two MP5's with unlimited ammo and I'll happily take on dozens, wave after wave. Heck, give me two handguns and unlimited ammo.
Fun game, if frightening.

Mass Effect 2.
OMYGOODNESS!!!!!!!!
This game continues to thrill me. I have nearly assembled my full team, and the character-centered missions have rocked my socks. EXCELLENT.

Bad Company 2.
Loving campaign so far. It's probably one of my favorite FPS campaigns in the short time I've played it.

RE.
I need to find something, but I don't know what. And I have to move the hands of a clock in a certain way to give me something (mayhaps the aforementioned something?), but I don't know how. And I'm running low on shotty ammo. And handgun ammo, for that matter. The shotgun allows me to put down Crimson heads for good, usually in two shots or less. But...I need moar shells.
And zombies aren't even the worst of my problems. I'm still on disc one, and previous experience allows me to have a foreknowledge of the nasty enemies headed my way. O_O Maybe on disc one, definitely on disc two.
*bangheadondesk*
Odd combo of frustration, freakiness, and fun.

Sonic the Hedgehog (Master system/VC).
On a Sonic kick. Forgot how fun these games are...makes me want to try a 3D installment. Well, a 3D installment that isn't an offshoot. Not that I don't enjoy Shadow.
Anyway, completely different game than the original. Master system is 8-Bit, and I grew up speeding through lush 16-bit jungle and ancient city environs in the OG Sonic. This one is not only less advanced graphically, but musically, and even world wise. Courses are the same length, but they feel smaller...not to mention they're different than the normal version. It also slows down a lourd, which makes me love Ninty more. They didn't update the game. I'm effectively playing the original. <3
Master system = Old PS3. It did everything. Even 3D. Wish I'd had one, but...I loved my Genesis. Still do. Itty bitty console, as I got the third gen...good times. I got my first TV and my first system in a 13 inch RCA and the Genesis. I may tear up if I go any further so, suffice that it brings back good memories. <3
I'd been playing Megaman X for years, but that was the family's. Not the same.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
Pulled out my Genesis to play. Not sure I see the reasoning in paying $8 for the VC port of a game that I already own in cartridge form.
Classic game style, but still way advanced from the OG Sonic the Hedgehog. And unlike the Master System ports, the graphics are shiny and beautiful. I am, however, running it through an
RF Adapter.

MAAAAAAN I
loves the classic gaming. So many good memories.
Sega's game pad is also cooler than most. No shoulder pads (surprising for the 90's), but it has six face buttons and a built in turbo switch
standard.
Good times.
