Vivid Conceptions.
Fun (and free) puzzle platformer. Which was far, far better than I thought a free game with sprites that looked they they were MS paint'd would be. The backgrounds though, were epic. XD
It ended rather sad though. :\ At least I didn't see it coming.

Loaded up another EVE Online trial.
I've got myself a li'l mining frigate fitting with a couple mining lasers. BEGIN THE EXCAVATION OF SCORDITE
I heart this game so much. The atmosphere. The horrible community. All of it. XD It's everything I want in a Sci-Fi game. I just can't pay the fee O_o

Zurg missions. There's something obliquely satisfying about taking down the enemies entire anti-air force with Mutalisks (flying enemies). XD
Wouldn't try that with the terrens though...Zurg units are cheap and plentiful, and I built 3 full mutalisk squads with upgraded weapons and armor in the time (and mayhaps even resources) it would've taken to build 1 terren wraith squad of the same.

HeXen. Playing a Fighter character on medium difficulty. Played the starting level and then the first hub today. Even found and played the secret level. I love solving all the puzzles and exploring all the nooks and crannies. It's a very fun game with a creepy atmosphere, a big step up atmosphere-wise from Heretic, which always bored me.

Just got beyond the mission I was on before my computer farted out. Fun times. Hard level. O_o So far though, I like the Zerg more than the marines. Even though they're creepy, evil, and generally grody. XD Creating a massive army with plenty of redundancy appeals to me more than building a normal sized army. Even if the marines are stronger.
Haven't played as the Protoss yet.

Mount & Blade with Fire and Sword - I miss being able to play as a female character. The new factions and looks take some getting used to. I cannot shoot the broad side of a barn with a gun...I still use my sword.

Uh...somewhere along the line there was a difficulty mess up. Either on my first playthrough, which was insanely hard and I died a lot, or my second playthrough. Where I am currently nailing headshots to great effect. Meaning a proper headshot kills in one hit. Not sure whether it was ramped up on the first, or ramped down on the second. XD Could've played on normal the first time. Pretty sure it's ramped down, because I put a slug through a mutants face and killed it one hit.
Anyway. I'm taking my time on this one, searching for caches and such. I got a sweet artifact in the first area this time that I didn't find for a looooooong time originally.
