Actually, I didn't pull any pranks. I did hear many pranks being planned though. I was going to help a friend duck tape someone's feet together, but that never happened.

It was great. It was in western Texas, so the climate was similar to that of Arizona's. The sun was hot, it rained some and I got lots done on merit badges, 3 of which are Eagle-required. I also played a wider variety of card games last week than I have in my entire life.

Not really. Our troop's favorite card game is bluff (aka peanut butter, liar, I doubt it)

I think I've played that. But it's been awhile.

Getting up early should be considered a crime on the weekends?

I usually get up earlier than most people on weekends, but yes because I also sleep late.

I don't have as much trouble with nervousness as I used to have. I think that my public speaking class that I took last year helped with that. There are times however that I do become very nervous.

When I took my speech class in college, my teacher insisted that it would be the most important class that I would take in all my time there. I did find it useful, but I'm not sure if it was the most important....Emwok wrote:I don't have as much trouble with nervousness as I used to have. What about you? Do you find your public speaking class to be critically important, or just one more requirement to check off in order to get out of school?

At first it was a "do it because you have to" class but having finished the class and moved on, I now see how valuable it really was. I do think that it was an important class considering how much the average person has to speak in public for various things. I had a great teacher and she emphasized this a lot.Sstavix wrote:When I took my speech class in college, my teacher insisted that it would be the most important class that I would take in all my time there.
