Never played any of them. But I think I might see if I can rent one (or buy, for that matter... it's probably cheaper than renting) for my cousin's PS2, so I can have something scary to play on Halloween.

Well, if you're gonna get a Silent Hill game, I don't recommend you play 3 unless you've played 1 already.

sooo, see if you can find a PS1 copy of SH1 or just grab SH2. (I think SH2 would be your best bet)

Yep.

I've heard SH2 is the scariest one of them all, so I'll probably go with that. Or I might just pick up SH1, seeing as how I have a PS1.

In terms of psychological effects, I think SH2 is the best.


But I found SH1 to be the scariest, even with it's old graphics.


As I'm sure bruce would agree, this game is really,REALLY scary even though it's old.
