Afraid of Monsters, for about 2.5 hours this afternoon. Finished it, but that's only one ending out of four.

At one point the path diverges and you can take two different paths with new maps leading to different endings. Then when you get all three endings and wrote down the codes you can find along the way (I hope I don't miss any of them), you can get to a fourth ending. I already found the entrance to the fourth ending but it won't open until I get the three other endings. Luckily I had a savegame at the point where the paths diverge, so I don't have to play the first part all over again.

Scary game, some parts were really tense, especially the ambient sound design does a lot to increase tension. The weapons are fun to shoot and the enemies are fun to kill. Level design is excellent.

The only thing I don't like is that sometimes there just aren't enough flashlight batteries and you're stumbling around in the dark waiting for the battery to reload. And there are a little too many forest areas where you can hardly see anything even with the flashlight, those are frustrating, I prefer the city areas or interiors of buildings.

Minecraft.

Playing SSP at the moment since I can't seem to connect to the server because my computer is being dumb :P Building myself a safe route through the Nether as kind of a fast-travel mechanism to get to new places for branch mining and exploring away from home.

...not so easy. I hate Ghasts. This whole game just freaking scares me sometimes XD

Actually, I have to correct myself here. On the other paths, many of the same maps are being re-used. That's a little disappointing. I just got the second ending and am working towards the third ending, and am now seeing many of the same maps for the third time. Gets a little boring. But I'm soldiering on, I've only got an hour, maybe 2 at the most, to the third ending and then I can get the secret fourth ending. I don't know if I'll have all the ten codes by then though, but I've already found them on the internet so whatever. That's cheating a bit, but I'm not looking forward to going through all the maps again with a fine toothed comb to find a few missing codes so I'm not going to.

That's a mod for Half Life, right?

Yeah, it's a mod for the Steam version of Half-Life (but not Half-Life Source, by the way). It's a so-called total conversion, where very little of the Half-Life assets are used, just a couple of sound effects and textures, the rest is totally new. It's good but also pretty hard, playing it on Easy was a good decision, I like moderate challenges but I don't like frustratingly difficult games. If you want to see it in action, there are videos on YouTube of people playing it.

Decided to take a break from school and finish a few quests and a deed (achievement).

I had reached into one of the caves for the main storyline quest, but as I got towards the end of the cave, the NPC I was escorting through it died and I got destroyed by the final mob boss. I suppose not being able to handle the spiders outside the door (I just ran by them and inside) was a good indication I wasn't ready for the quest.

I had also went to the Bree Home-Steads, in hopes that I'd be able to afford to buy a house, but I discovered that they're pretty expensive to what's in my bank now. Oh well.

Decided a quick reinstall of Morrowind was in order.

Found out pretty fast that a pure hand-to-hand/unarmored build is entirely useless.

More Morrowind.

My barbarian-type build is doing good.

Virtua Fighter 5

Was doing decent in Quest mode. Then I got up to cook, and came back just in time to see my sister pull a 10 match run of perfect 3-0 games.

...that's an ego killer.

Ponterbee Station, a user-made campaign for System Shock 2.

Negative points: The sub-par voice acting.

Positive points: Pretty much everything else. It's quite good.
