Mythbusters?
Are you watching the Sbemails, or the 'Toons, or both? D&D Greg is in one of the TGS episodes.

I used to watch Mythbusters all the time. I've stopped...need to take it up again. It's one of the few educational shows that actually make science practical, rather than just a series of weighty ideas.

Plus, it's always hilarious when Adam injures himself. XD

That was amazing. It sounded like a real song! XD

Yeah...that's going to be in my head for awhile.

I watch both, I haven't seen many though. And Adam hurting himself is the best!

Taco Bell?

The most glorious of all Mexican food restaurants.

Yes, it could be argued that higher quality Mexican food is available, especially by hipsters. But Taco bell tastes fantastic. O_o I could eat it all day everyday.

I'm more of a proponent of them than I should be, I think. I mean, if Ping-Pong and beach volleyball can be Olympic sports, I see no reason why MOBA's, or even a tightly controlled FPS/TPS shouldn't be. They still require training, reflexes, and knowledge to gain victory.

On the other hand, I am not a fan of 'real' sports, so mayhaps it is just that. >_>

Except for the X-Games. I have a weakness for extreme sports.

Me too. Personally, I'd love to see Dota 2 (maybe LoL) and CS:GO in the Olympics (or maybe have an E-sports olympics) at some point.

Exploding Kittens?

What is your thoughts on Queen's I want to break free song as a first song to learn playing on a guitar?
Never judge a book by it's cover
and don't underestimate them either.

I would tend to lean towards E-Sports getting their own separate event, I think. The Olympics are very much a political event now. Plus, they have to be in the late afternoon, else no one would show up. :P

I very, very much want to play Exploding Kittens. <3 I've had my gamer eye on it for awhile. It looks hilariously fun.

I haven't heard it in awhile, but from the chord/tablature I looked up, it doesn't seem like it would be incredibly hard to learn. It would be tricky to get the solo's, and the little twangy bits down...but the song itself seems good. There are easier ones to learn, though.

But for me, I'm a very hard-headed person; it was easier to learn a difficult song that I liked, than a very easy song I didn't like. You might not be that way. :D

Actually i am.

If i don't like a song why should i waste my time learning it if im never going to play it?

So, easier songs aren't always easy to learn.

Do you have any suggestions?

Just a couple

It's pretty great. I don't have it, but some of my friends at the school do and we play it from time to time. It gets pretty intense towards the end.

If you could travel to any fantasy world or any sci-fi world, where would you go?

Well, a lot of music instructors will tell you to learn certain songs because of the techniques they utilize. A lot of country music uses bends and slides, and while I dislike country music, bends and slides are used a lot in rock and metal.

As for easy songs, it depends on what kind of music you like. When I was first learning, I liked rock; one of the first songs I learned was the Chord version of "Sweet Home Alabama". I never quite reached the solo, but the chords/rhythm are pretty easy to learn.

"House of the Rising Sun" is pretty easy too; they both use easy chords. ^_^

Oh dang. That's waaaaaaaaaaay to hard. XD The first one that comes to mind is Amara, from the DragonKeeper Chronicles. The dragons are friendly, and the magic is a matter of manipulating matter within God's principles. I love that. <3 I think Tamriel, or at least Morrowind, would be awesome too; that's the quintessential fantasy world, in my eyes. It's got everything; literally. Of course, the Monster Hunter planet would be really cool too; I would have no problems with that occupation. And there's also Caen, the world of Warmachine; it'd be incredibly dangerous, but I think I would like controlling a Warjack and being a mercenary. As long as no undead abomination melted me into goop.

Sci-Fi wise, I like the Universe Kathy Tyers built in the Firebird trilogy...Star Wars-esque, but with the "force" exclusive to certain gene engineered people. But it's a tad too realistic...Star Wars is actually the obvious one, and I can't find much reason to not say Star Wars, except planets keep getting blown up all the time. -_- There's also the 40K universe, which would be fine as long as I was a Salamander. Immortal Space Marine sworn in defense of mankind? I quite Earth in the Destiny universe as well.

I think the problem is, I spend too much of my time in said worlds already. O_o

Poor Eris. She's cool, though. If a bit scary at times. O_o Not that I blame her.

That is probably more real than the reverse title. Though it would have to be an especially fat and nerdy squirrel.
Emwok wrote:Band trips?
I have not experienced one. Seems like it could be fun though. As long as the trumpet guy actually packs his trumpet, and doesn't play it the whole drive. @_@

Nothing say "I'll remember this forever" like someone playing a trumpet in your ear for 8 hours. -_-
