Fifth World?ScotchRobbins wrote:Fifth World Problems?
It depends on which theory you adopt. If there are problems on Jupiter, then they don't exist, since being a gas giant, it has no habitable surface. If you subscribe to the theory that the asteroid belt used to be a planet that had broken up, then it's entirely too late to do anything about those people's problems....
If you're referring to the card games, I've had very little experience with either one. The shows are OK, though. The Pokemon video game that I've played (blue and yellow) is a blast, and my daughter really likes it, too.Emwok wrote:Yu-Gi-Oh! and/or Pokémon?

Follow the smell of socks, then. You'll find it there. Bring back my socks when you find them, please.Chozon1 wrote:I've lost my trunk keys. XD
Never played it. As it doesn't appear to have a Mac version, probably never will. Since it's a first-person shooter, it loses some of my interest right there. Given that there are a ton of other Mac-compatible games available to me just from my Steam account... well, whose got time to deal with emulation? If I really want to play a FPS, I'll just fire up TF2.Chozon1 wrote:Planetside?

I haven't had as much experience with the game as others around here (like you), but so far it seems like my go-to class has been the Heavy. Definitely not a character for long-range battles, but when I manage to ambush someone, it's fun to watch them drop quickly.

Haven't gotten it yet (it being TF2) and my dad still hasn't looked at it.
I play the card game Yu-Gi-Oh and I play the Pokémon video games X and Y.
Have you heard that they are doing a remake of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire?

I recommend looking at the servers with the gore turned off (called "sillygibs-" I believe the one hosted here has it). Otherwise the game can be rather bloody.Emwok wrote:Haven't gotten it yet (it being TF2) and my dad still hasn't looked at it.
So they're making a remake of a remake? That's getting into silly territory there. What kind of...Emwok wrote:I play the card game Yu-Gi-Oh and I play the Pokémon video games X and Y.

Let's see here... yep. I've got an unredeemed Steam key for the Second Avernum trilogy. (Windows only, and my wife bought me the trilogy on CD years ago as a Christmas present, so I've had little reason to redeem it). If you want it, feel free to PM me.Chozon1 wrote:I want to try Avernum something fierce.

Spiderweb also offers demos of all their games on their Web site, and those tend to be a good way to get a feel for the games as well.
I tend to enjoy them quite a bit. Some are definitely better than others, though... for an example of how not to do one, take a look at Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor. I actually came across my copy of this game while going through a box of junk that was packed during one of our moved. I briefly considered installing it, remembered how cumbersome and dull the gameplay was, and put it back in the box, where it'll probably remain for another couple of years or so....Chozon1 wrote:Old school dungeon crawler?

I really appreciate that, but I will pass.
Thank you though.
