I don't know if you meant to post this here since it seems maybe like an answer to ArcticFox, but since I'm a programmer anyway, I'll answer it for you. :D

Background: My father is a computer engineer (which is kind of like a Software/Systems engineer, he works with hardware and software), so I've had some vague idea that programming was a thing for as long as I can remember.

When I was 13, I tried teaching myself C++. I saw a book on my dad's bookshelf on it, and thought it sounded interesting. I got decently good at it, but never really did anything with it. Then when I went off to community college my last two years of high school, I took a proper programming course and did well in it. I decided that I wanted to try my hand at it professionally. I've had...mixed results, but that stems from my personality.

Favorite programming language...probably Java or C#. Both are very easy to use and do powerful things with. The truth is, there is no programming language "silver bullet" that will fit every situation. Some languages naturally lend themselves to certain applications. PHP to web pages, Python to console scripting, C++ for Object-Oriented memory efficiency, Java for most general purpose needs, etc. The trick is not to be a master of one language necessarily, but to be skilled in several. Once you've learned a few, picking up a new one is a piece of cake.

Wow, that's really cool... I think I'll pick it back up again

Yea, I'll agree with you on languages. I only know python a bit at the moment but I'm hoping I keep progressing in it a bit as a hobby :)

Boneless wings are a must for me as well. I feel when you eat a regular chicken wing, you get as much gristle, skin, and gnarly stuff as you do meat and sauce. -_-

Are you a super spicy sauce man, or a flavor-first sauce man?

Well in that case, absolutely. In fact, the last time I got Dominos I got a Pizza and an order of pineapple jalapeno chicken. Mmmm.

It really depends on the sauce, and what the sauce is going on. With chicken wings a la Wing Stop, I usually go for half super spicy, half flavorful. With chicken, there's a point at which the spice overrides the chicken flavor (Usually around the habanero), and that's where it goes too far in my book. Now on the other hand, Thai and Indian food needs to be super spicy. That's just the way it is. So bring on the heat.

I have found that I can take really spicy food, but I actually prefer it medium.

Speaking coherently is over rated?

Especially in the wee hours of the morning. Or after ingesting alcohol. Either or.

I don't have the excuse of alcohol. Just exhaustion.

When you discover a piece of candy, and get all excited over it, then drop it under your desk whilst unwrapping it? O_o

At least my desk has germs I'm ok with getting...

(No pets, no other people living with me = all germs are ones I've already been exposed to)

Your under-desk is a lot cleaner than mine. I'll say nothing else on the grounds that it may incriminate me.

The Fantastic 4?

The new movie (I call it Fant Four Stick because they stylized it Fant4stic) sucked. It blew chunks. The whole thing was a 2 hour Act I. I read into it, and the studio gypped the writer by literally doing just that: Taking his act 1 and making a whole movie out of just that. The writer was less than impressed.

They're not a bad conceptual group, but we have yet to see a decent movie about them yet.

I enjoyed it, but I feel much the same way...It was disappointing, since I actually really liked the way they did them.

Italian Cherry peppers are the most surprisingly painful things ever?

You'd be surprised. Chinese chili peppers are ludicrous. O_o

Yeah...but I expect that. Well do I know that american made Chinese food doesn't equal the heat of the traditional stuff. But I ate a cherry pepper yesterday that about killed me. I literally cried (not just watery eyes...tears were running down my face), choked on it, and my innards hurt all night. XD Keep in mind, I ate a burger last week that had Ghost Chili salsa and fresh jalapenos on it without breaking a sweat...this thing hurt, and it came out of the leftest of all fields. O_o I want a jar of them. <3

Undercooked onions?

Not a fan. I like my onions uncooked or fully cooked. Partially cooked is like undercooked broccoli. Just...ew.

Is there a way broccoli isn't worthy of "ew"?
