Shaun of the dead

Pretty funny movie, but not nearly as good everyones made it out to be.

B+

Zombieland

I found this movie to be alot better then shaun of the dead. Really funny.

This movie was actually pretty funny at first, but then it got to a point in the film where all it did was ridicule christianity. I can take a joke about it here and there but it was ridiculously stupid and constant. I just stopped watching it 3/4 through.

Zombieland is loads of fun, but Shaun of the Dead will always be the ultimate 'rom-com-zom.'

I love the part where the zombies are in the game shows.

Sanctum

Eh. It was alright.

Never going to be a cave diver, though.

^You just brought back horrible memories of being forced to watch that.

The Bourne Identity.

I got lost somewhere after they threw away the book's story...which was like five minutes in.

Due Date - Didn't like it, the only part I thought was funny was when they drove over the big bumps in the pick up truck

"Dad, you were like a father to me..." ...Decent movie.

Anyway,

Step Up - C
Gnomeo and Juliet - C

As you can see, I'm clearly not making the movie choices around here.

Memento.

It was a bit weird at first, but ended up awesome.

The Adjustment Bureau - Good fun, it kept me entertained throughout. Fairly original idea for a movie and well executed. Good acting by Matt Damon and Emily Blunt. I also liked how they used the New York City locations, I've not often seen the city portrayed this awesomely in a movie, they really made the most out of it. 8/10

Gulliver's Travels - You have to like the typical Jack Black humor to dig this movie. If you do, you might find it decent if nothing special. Some of the jokes are funny, but others are pretty lame. Especially the ending sequence - in which

is really weak. I liked it okay regardless. Fairly low on offensive elements and rough language. 7/10

Somewhat wanted to see Gullivers Travels. Looked funny, at any rate. :D

Gnomeo and Juliet.

Does a surprisingly OK job of preserving the original story (before I get rightfully beaten down for that, allow me to qualify with "for a play-to-book-to-movie" adaptation) of Romeo and Juliet. Literally, I was surprised. In light of the butchery jobs that are typically "let's turn this into a movie" I didna go into it thinking "Romeo and Juliet". And I enjoyed it.
Spoiler:
Bonus points for changing the melodramatic OG ending (and making a point of that), and referencing other historical literary works throughout. Ala "The taming of the Glue" brand glue. XD And for casting freaking Patrick Stuart as Shakespeare. O_o
Wouldn't stand up to a proper reading of the play, I think, but fairly good as a movie.

The Man from Nowhere

Quite possible one of the best action movies I've ever seen. Also has the distinction of having one of the best knife fights ever.
