Why were the Veggie Tales so awesome when they were 30 minutes but now they're so lame?

I'll be buying the game and the instruments. I like the upgrades to the guitar, and the drums... well, I've been aching for a quieter drum set.

I would've never called Veggie Tales awesome. But... maybe because the formula worked when short, but when expanded, it loses its poignancy.

Did you catch game footage of Dead Space, and if so, what did you think of it?

I haven't seen E3 game footage of Dead Space, but I did see it around a month ago. A lot can change in that time, so I'll just say what I thought and leave it at that.

I think that Dead Space looks like it could be a really inventive new game. For some reason, whenever I think of Dead Space, I think of Event Horizon. Which is a very horrifying thing.

I hated the enemy designs. I hated the animation on the enemies. I flat out didn't think the game looked like it should if it's a triple-A title. But the concept is there, and if it ends up being something amazing, I'm there.

It launches in October. They've still got a couple of months. ;)

Eh, it looked creepy to me. I'll not be buying it. ^_^

Have you looked at the newest "The Conduit" screens and videos? Also, did you know it uses Wii Speak?

I'm not sure what Wii Speak is.

I saw screens and videos for The Conduit and remain unimpressed. I'm a pretty jaded hardcore gamer (if you could even call me that anymore... let's say that in the past, I have been) and don't get so easily swayed by graphics. Personally, I think the graphics look like a late era Xbox 1 game. Better than most games on the Wii, certainly not better than almost anything you'd find on the 360.

How jealous does it make you that Riley and I are bigger fans of Dark Knight than you are?

I think that your refusal to understand my love of all things Batman is overshadowed by the fact that you haven't heard me talk about it much. I mean, honestly, Zak. I own something like six Batman graphic novels, have read many, many more and have tickets to the IMAX showing of the film.

...All of which you don't have. Soooooooo.... I dunno. Why don't you tell me?

Scott, why do I always have trouble writing the Intro and Gameplay section of my reviews and yet everything else goes smoothly?

Always. I rock like that.

Because you don't know what to say. You're setting up the framework for the review, the foundation. The rest of the review should flow smoothly after getting down the difficult parts.

What is IMAX and how does it influence movie going?

Also, how do you feel over bio-diesel and the effect it has on North ridge migrating weasel chucks?

Yes, I could do a Google search, but I prefer to have me answers with a touch of dry wit to them.
