Yeah, actually. Recently that was The Bourne Supremacy for me. The first time I saw it, I hated it, simply because of how altered the plot was from the original novel. Going back now I can take it as a very good action movie.

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

I know it's misspelled...but who could resist?
That wasn't really the problem, because Kate Beckinsale kinda outweighed both of them. >.>

But seriously, it was the directing by Michael Bay. Ugh.

I have a few favorites, so I can't pick just one.

Of course there's Saving Private Ryan, but I also loved Letters from Iwo Jima (possibly one of Eastwood's best directorial efforts), Platoon (holy cow. Amazing film), Apocalypse Now Redux (absolutely stunning) and, amazingly, The Deer Hunter. Sure, it's bloated and overlong... but De Niro and Walken starring in a movie about the lasting effects of war? Man oh man, it's brutal and tragic and a total must-see.

I'm not sure what you're referring to...

So going from that, it's an impossibility that will constantly refine a given work.

I... don't know. But I think you should.

Note that I didn't say "Full Metal Jacket." I really really want to see that movie... but somehow, it's just never happened. :(
