Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium - The movie had good word of mouth from a few friends (including Heartless), so I decided to exchange my copy of The Forbidden Kingdom for this (since I didn't realize that Kingdom wasn't in English).
Anyways, I would have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The acting here is surprisingly good for a kid's movie, and Natalie Portman is especially fantastic as Mahoney. The movie as a whole seemed whimsical, but underdeveloped (which will not forbid me from enjoying a movie. See: Push)
All in all, sugary fun. B-

The Fantastic Mr. Fox
Well, it was funny, and enjoyable, but the ending seemed unsatisfying to me. Meh. I still moderately enjoyed it.

Truth be told, it wasn't Star Wars, it wasn't V... it was this movie that made me a believer in Portman.

I haven't actually seen
V for Vendetta yet.
I should hopefully be watching
Leon: The Professional soon though; my friend owns it, and I'm waiting for him to watch it so I can borrow it.

Over the last few days, I've watched the Blade trilogy.
The first was decent. The second was good. The last was a let down.
Worth my time to watch, but I'm not gonna hurry to recommend them here due to gruesome violence and lots of profanity.

Of course the second is good, del Toro doesn't disappoint.

I know, right? XD
And, I feel I should clarify... the third one wasn't exactly terrible or anything... it just didn't come close to living up to its potential (which it had a ton of... Ryan Reynolds in it? Dracula as the archnemesis? etc.)... or the precedent set by del Toro in the film before. Felt more like a cash-in than I think it should have. Still fun... just, well, a let down.

I need to see Blade 3 again. I saw it in theatres, and remember that the best thing about it was Reynolds. XD

Sabotage.
It's Hitchcock doing a Joseph Conrad novel, nothing could possibly gone wrong.

I had to be forced into watching this, and I was beyond surprised at how much I enjoyed it.

^ Ewww. I tried watching that movie. Bleh.
Rocketman - A Disney classic. <.< A++
The Rundown, again. I didn't mind so much. It's a fun little action movie. B+
A Scanner Darkly - on the second run through, there didn't seem to be as much to it as I thought there was. Still a good movie. A-
The Brother's Grimm - Not really that great, but some of the cinematography/visuals and performances make it entertaining at least. C+
Shutter Island - A well made thriller with an ending so unsatisfying it makes me want to scream. A for the movie, but F for my well-being after I watched it.
