Do you have some advice for someone who never worked before and is looking for a small job to start off with?
Never judge a book by it's cover
and don't underestimate them either.

A little from column A, a little from column B.ohnolookout wrote:Ah, gotcha.Drewsov wrote:Well... the sand is somehow different feeling in Florida... same with the way the air moves, and the color of the sea. It's beautiful, to be sure, buuuuuut... I prefer California's beaches to Florida's.

Well... kinda. I started working pretty young, so I'd recommend just starting with something small, probably in food service. If that's not your style (and believe me, you'll figure that out pretty quickly if it's not), try a smaller retail job. Even big box stores like Target and Best Buy have relatively small part-time positions that don't pay poorly for what they are, so try that. And, you know, the Christmas season is upon us; you could always apply for some seasonal help somewhere. Again, Best Buys, Targets and the like will be hiring like crazy for the Christmas rush, and you could always try something like Gamestop for a seasonal job (if you're into games at all, this will be a pretty easy, relaxed job that might just be perfect for you).Eagle Eyes wrote:Do you have some advice for someone who never worked before and is looking for a small job to start off with?
Hope that helps.

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

Probably a tie between Slipknot/Disturbed, NIN, Killswitch Engage and Green Day.

I'm getting pretty far away from metal/metalcore/hardcore/anything like that as of late.
I haven't actually listened to Killswitch in... probably three years.
