This movie is stupid. But still funny.

Funny, cute, touching, and with bobsleding.

Good Disney movie.

Hannibal

Yuck....this isn't much of anything......it's essentially a gore-fest that has a twisted romance story around it.

The effects were pretty nice, but the movie itself felt like a waste of my time.

Not even Anthony Hopkins's awesome performance could save this.

Deep, if you're getting into the Hannibal Lecter movies, check out Manhunter. It's based on Thomas Harris' novel Red Dragon, and it's the prequel to Silence of the Lambs. They remade it in like 2002 with Edward Norton and a few other people... both versions are pretty good.

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

I didn't really like Red Dragon, Drew :/

Also, I didn't really enjoy The Forbidden Kingdom, either.

A Jet Li/Jackie Chan collaboration deserved so much more than what this movie had...which was basically a ridiculous, goofy effect-crammed borefest. A five-minute fight between Li and Chan was awesome, and more or less the only high point in the entire film. Although Bingbing Li was pretty cool as the White-Haired Bride/Assassin.

The recommendation was for Manhunter over Red Dragon. :P

Agreed Wampa.

And Drew, I was already planning on seeing both of those at some point.

Reservoir Dogs

...

Ehh. It was alright......was really good up until the end where everything just...fell apart.

Pulp Fiction was better, overall.

Awesome. As a huge Greek mythology fan, I expected this film to deliver plenty of mythological beings and some awesome action, and it did exactly that. No Oscar-winning screenplay here, and no significant love story, either. Just monsters, gods, and swords. Make sure you see it in 2D, NOT 3D.

The Family Man - I think Nicholas Cage might actually be winning me over. I'm not sure how, but he is. A pretty predictable sort of movie with relatively good values. C

Defendor - Or, what I saw of it because I was drifting in and out of sleep. Not because the movie was so bad, but because I was so tired. That said, the movie wasn't really as good as I thought it was going to be, but I suppose I'd better watch it again before I pass judgment. Woody Harrelson is great, as usual, and Kat Dennings held her own in her slightly unsavory role. C+

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist - Quite entertaining, but without a whole lot of substance. Like, almost none. C

Office Space - Very funny, very interesting farce of the American workspace. B-

The 3D effect was added post-production (unlike Avatar, which was filmed in 3D). WB saw how popular Avatar was and insisted that Clash be converted. As a result, the 3D looks ugly and unnatural and detracts from the film. Which is a shame, because it's a great looking film. Trust me on this one, 2D is the way to go.

....

This was one messed up story....

....cool, awesome, creepy, harrowing, and it's one of the few foreign language movies I actually enjoyed.

I think this may be one of the best movies I've ever seen.

Across the Universe.

The fam and I watched it last night. Not bad, but I'm not much a fan of musicals. Plus, you really... really gotta know the Beatles to completely appreciate this film.
