Saving Silverman- The first half had be laughing pretty hard, but the second half was crap. It was an alright movie, but I won't be watching it again.
C

New Moon- No one laugh. I have two sisters and a mom that love this series, so they made me watch it with them. On the bright side, I kind of liked it.

Not sure I would consider that a bright side...

Zombieland

Forgot how much swearing was in it and my youngest sister left before they got to the theme park. I worry about her, being the only one of us to go to a normal high school... :P Anyway, funny movie, though it seemed shorter the second time through.

Wow, my mom loathes the Twilight series. XD

The Shining

Really good adaptation, but they changed the ending. Also, Shelley Duvall is uuuuuuuggggglllly. And I wasn't a fan of her acting.....

Anyways, solid horror film overall, but I liked the book better.

That pretty much sums up my thoughts of the film. Good, but the book is far better.

And I can't remember the last movie I watched.

Do cutscenes in games count?

I've watched a butt-load of movies recently, so hopefully I can remember all of them:

The Sixth Sense - The ending had already been ruined for me (darn you, spoiler-ridden internet!), but it's still a well produced thriller worth spending your time on, even if it's only for the look of terror on your friend's faces while you laugh your head off. True story. B+

The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising - If there was one word to describe this movie, I would say ambiguous. If there was two, I would say ambiguous and cheesy. Poor acting and amateurish direction keep this one in the 'dark.' C-

Did You Hear About the Morgans? - Slow moving, cliche, predictable, sappy, with a horrible script dragging out these adjectives. I almost didn't finish watching it because it was so boring, but there were a few mildly amusing moments. D

About twenty minutes of The Story of Us with my mom. That was...awkward.

October Sky - I've always liked this movie, and now that I've grown to appreciate more of Jake Gyllenhaal's other work, he still turns in a fine performance as the inspiring Homer Hickam. The true story that it's based on seems tailor-made to fit the screen, and despite being a little overbearingly sentimental at times, it works. B

When In Rome - Extremely silly, but a little bit of indulgent fun. It was nice to see Napoleon and Pedro on-screen together again, but it felt kind of forced. Josh Duhamel and Kirsten Bell have a decent amount of chemistry, and despite being beautiful people, the klutziness was a nice touch. C-

Since this topic hasn't been getting any action, I recently 'watched' these movies:

Most of The Rock. You can't go wrong with Sean Connery and Ed Harris. You can go wrong with Nicholas Cage though, which is partially why this movie is so fun to watch: He's deliriously over-the-top and quite amusing. B

The latter half of Bandslam. I think this movie, while still cheesy, gets a lot of undeserved hate because it was touted as a Disney-fied romp starring Vanessa Hudgens. It's not. Not really, I mean. C+

Eh... Wasn't all that great. The action was bland, just a lot of people shooting at each other and looked rather one sided. Oddly enough it looked one sided towards the were-wolves which didn't make a lot of sense. The story was kind of bland and the exposition lacking. I spent a good part of it just going "Who, what, why?"

I'd give it a D

That Thing You Do! - It's a favorite of mine, even if it is rather cheesy.

Also, I bought Insomnia and Michael Clayton today, so I will hopefully watch these soon.

Wow...

...that was creepy, disturbing, and gripping all the way through. I now want to see more of these movies.

Only criticisms I had with this movie was that it was kinda lacking in the 'oomph' department, but it was still really awesome.

Entertaining, pretty goofy movie.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

Now that I have a greater appreciation for wuxia, the movie was a lot better than when I first saw it when it released on VHS.
