It's Pixar. Have they ever had a fully believable movie? XD
Paris, je t'aime
Hmm. Well, when you have so many different directors and actors, you really can't pin down the whole movie with one rating. Some of the 10-minute-long shorts were just miserable (such as the Elijah Wood vampire romance segment), and some were quite good. I wouldn't know if it really captured the spirit of Paris, but you definitely got a taste of the various cultures in the city.
Overall... it's only worth it if you know which segments to skip. Otherwise you'll just be sitting through a bunch of mediocre pieces, waiting for something that's actually good.
The Hire
This is once again a movie made up of segments lasting roughly 10 minutes. BMW came up with this revolutionary idea to actually make some interesting, story-driven commercials with characters that you come to care about. There are 8 shorts, all starring Clive Owen as The Driver. With each segment comes a new director and new actors. You've got John Frankenheimer, Ang Lee, Wong Kar-Wai, Guy Ritchie, Alejandro González Iñárritu, John Woo, Joe Carnahan, and Tony Scott directing. Even David Fincher produced for part of the series.
I really, really enjoyed this series. If you're into action and car chases, you're going to love it. If you're into character drama, you're also going to love it. It appeals to both sides of the spectrum. Look it up on YouTube and I doubt you'll be disappointed.
A+

The Hire is one cool little series there, Riley. Good find.
Invictus
It was...underwhelming. Eastwood continues to follow the "less is more" concept of direction, but...I'm not sure if it served him all that well in this case. Invictus never moved me, and there was one instance that was so cliched I couldn't believe Eastwood put it in there. But Morgan Freeman was perfect, and the film did show how sports can bring a country together. So it was a success. Just not a great success.
B
The Bourne Supremacy
I love this movie, just like I love the whole trilogy.
B+

Drew showed me, actually. I'm surprised I hadn't heard about it before, though.
Also, after going over my rating again, I think I'd give it an
A over an
A+. I'm starting to come out of the overhyping stage. XD

Will do, because it sounds cool.

Quantum of Solace.
Very, very, very good movie. I'm not sure it passes Casino Royal as my favorite Bond film ever... but it's close. Maybe because they relate, and I love serial (even a tiny bit) in... well, anything. I had a couple of minor problems, mainly with a character or two, but overall... <3.

This is kinda random, but I haven't seen any of the Bond films. Because of you, though, I think that I will watch CR first...

Ah. Yes, Casino is epic. Very, very awesome. I will say though... both Casino and Quantum are easily the two darkest Bond films ever. Just the overall story, and Bond's love dieing... him going out on a revenge mission (in Quantum, that's pretty much what he does)... kinda sad. And stuff like that.
Great films though. Extremely great films.

Way to spoil the plot, Nix.

I'm not one to mind spoilers, and I don't give a guess-what if I spoil something.
<_<
Lazarus and I agree on this, and thus it is Okay.
>_>
XD
And I last saw some of the Two Towers.
Good stuff. Extended are very long. But even more epic than the regs.

That's one of my most want-to-see films at the moment. And Christian Bale is in it. Looks awesome.

Christian Bale was actually the worst part of what was a decent movie.
I like him, but he was worthless there.

Suddenly it doesn't seem as cool.
Christian Bale is cool.

It's still pretty awesome.
Terminator Salvation has another lead, and he's relatively new. Sam Worthington (he also stars in Avatar) is pretty awesome and saves the movie from being crap.
Just the same... I rather liked Salvation. I think it's because I went in with bad expectations after T3... and came out pleasantly surprised.
