I think the word 'confusing' can be easily applied here.

I'm not even going to rate this one until I figure out just what the heck went on. XD

lulz, I know what you mean. I immediately looked it up on Wikipedia after finishing it to get some clarity. I'd recommend you do the same.

o.o

I shall do this. Cheap-ish on DVD?

Yeaaaah. That movie... yeah. I've seen it four or five times now, and I still can't figure it out completely. XD

I have never looked it up on Wiki, though. Will do.

OK, time to re-review it. XD

2001: A Space Odyssey

First off, I experienced a few problems with this movie, for instance, the DVD I watched it on had some audio issues, like the volume steadily fell throughout the movie.

And some sequences seemed to exist (Or more precisely, be drawn out) to illustrate special effects. They are still impressive by today's standards, but a few sequences seemed unnecessarily long.

But I can excuse those for the rest of the movie. The rest of the movie was fantastic. I do wish that more explanation on the story was given, but I think that's probably the point of the film: Interpreting it the way you want to. I interpreted it as the development of man, from early beginnings to the space age, and then beyond mere mortality. The film did a great job of keeping the viewer hooked, with great narrative from the dialog when there was any, but it is amazing how little was said, yet how much it told.

I think my mind has been blown. o.o

Ratatouille - This is only the second viewing, so it's not really my favorite Pixar film, but I'd say it holds up fairly well.

Bruce Almighty - Pretty fun, mostly thoughtful movie. I don't like, however, the human-centered concept of God, which seemed to be suggesting the miracles are 'inside of us.' Really, that's the best you could come up with?

Regardless, I like Jim Carrey, and for the most part, this movie.
