Ehh, it suffers from the "Glorified episode" Syndrome that the original movie suffered from. Not to say it's not entertaining, but it's just not that good. My girlfriend said she heard that every odd numbered Star trek movie from 1-10 is mediocre, and the even numbered ones are great. From my experience, this is largely true. The only odd numbered movie I saw and liked was Generations. every even numbered movie rocked so far.

But, I digress.

That movie brings back bad memories. :|

I saw Paranormal Activity, again. The only reason I saw it again was because there was supposed to be like ten people going... but seven of them canceled at the last minute. Epic fail. -_-

This... is possibly my favorite Trek movie. It's good, very very good. And I love the whole prelude to the Klingon relationship that Star Fleet has in later series.

I've seen it many times, and it still gets a solid... A

And watched Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan last night. Good stuff. Not my favorite, but still... a great film.

Hm... passed the time, but not the greatest movies. What really annoyed me about GIJ was that they killed so many innocent people, and the good guys did virtually nothing to stop it. :|

I saw it at a midnight premier. I love being the only one here to actually see it and, by extension, actually have a valid say on the film based on first hand experience.

It's clearly made for a very specific audience: Girls who like guys who are ridiculously buff or ridiculously heartwrenching.

However, the audience I belonged to, the audience that is curious to see another interpretation of vampires and werewolves, can also enjoy it a little bit.

Though, overall, for the majority of folks (and just about everyone here on CCG), it's a pretty weak movie that isn't worth your ten bucks.

Wow, only complaint about GI Joe is one about realism...and just about the only realistic thing in it.

And in the middle of Ong Bak 2. Finally.

*cough* um, New Moon was the last movie I watched. Yeah, I know. It wasn't my idea. Sappiest thing I've ever seen, and the CGI sucked, though some of the ideas were cool and the music was good. I would elaborate, but I think you get the idea when I say all the girls next to me were counting Taylor Lautner's abs. Out loud. D-

Note: I have not read any of the books or watched the previous movie.

I also recently watched,

Mean Girls - I know, I know, I've virtually lost all man points that I've ever had, but this one wasn't too bad. C

The Boondock Saints - I'm not sure how to describe it, because the acting was charming and pretty fantastic, and there was a relatively good script and interesting characters, but I really didn't like this movie. C+

That Thing You Do! - Cheesy breezy fun, and I love it. B+

Kenny and Trip could never lose their manliness... they could be regular watchers of Sex and the City, and they'd still have a million guy points. XD
