If Mark Knopfler is [one of] your favorite guitarists, what makes you like him so much? Also, which Dire Straits album is your favorite?
First of all... mad respect for the Futurama image.

Second... I love Knopfler because of his tone and because of his lyrics. The sounds that he gets out of his guitar are amazing; I don't understand them, but they cut to my soul, and it's an emotional experience just hearing him play.

Favorite Dire Straits album? Brothers in Arms. ;)

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

I do like Lamb of God. Their new album, though? Not so much.
Ah. Not crazy about Wrath, eh? I liked it quite a bit. Not the best in the world, not even their best, but very solid.

Was that a question?
The problem with Wrath was that it had no hooks. Musically, it was sound. The production on it was impressive and raw, reminiscent of stuff that Steve Albini has done in the past. However... from a critical standpoint, the album is a massive let down. I'd expect a solid album from another group. From Lamb of God, I want an album that lives up to their previous two. Wrath has no place next to what they've done before. It is shallow and pedantic compared to the rest of the group's catalog.

And... no, it wasn't really a question. :P

Ah. Well, I like the album... but yeah. As I said, it doesn't compare to their previous stuff (sorta said that <_<)... namely Sacrament.

I love that CD.

RIGHT?

I'm not that anti-social. It's just that I don't always feel comfortable asking other people questions.

If they breed out into dinosaurs, I'll let you know. I've got three in my tank at the moment. :D

Drew, you're in a place with people that love you. Ask anyone.

And though yes, that is a Psych reference, it's also meant fur srs.

I have had my fish tank set up for around 3-4 months, and I'm so used to it being empty, I kind of jump every time the fish dart around. XD

Thanks for saying that, Chozon.

I think part of it is that I have this weird tendency to get people to reveal a ton to me... without me really trying. It's a form of manipulation that I learned somehow, and that I've really tried to break out of.

And, uh... you jump because they make you happy?

Hmm...tricky. I see your point.

Also...kinda...They kinda startle me too. Danios are really active fish. A lot like the children of the tropical fish world. One moment, they're "standing" still, the next, zipping around the tank like mad. One even jumped out of the water earlier. XD So...it's awesome.

I need moar music?

Startle you? Huh.

And more music, huh... you know, everyone could do with more music. ;)
