That's because you're a prude :P

I was forced to watch the short film based on Updike's A&P.

Ugh.....

Zombieland

Cripes. It was honestly even funnier than I expected. I have very few complaints (there were a couple nitpicks with the appropriateness). Woody Harrelson was excellent, and the "You Know Who" cameo was incredible. Definitely the funniest movie of the year so far.

Eh, most people know what the cameo is anyway..spoilers are hard to avoid when you have access to the internet.

Anyways, I last watched:

The first hour or so of Iron Man. I still maintain that the film itself was not all that great, however, Robert Downey Jr. does a fairly impressive job.

Cowboy Bebop: The Movie - I haven't seen any of the series, so the experience might be a bit different for me, but I definitely want to watch the TV show now. The only thing I didn't really care for was some portions of the English dubbing, and the usual Japanese shenanigans of sexualizing the female characters. Overall, a very strong film.

Kill Bill: Volume 1 - My first full Tarantino experience, and I have to say, I was surprised to find myself enjoying it, if purely for the technical aspect. I wish I hadn't watched it with three girls, but they seemed to like it too, so..*shrug*

Yeah, you'll find that sexualization in a lot of Japanese productions, but not all of them, thankfully. Naruto had very few instances of that, and Fullmetal Alchemist even less so, though there were a couple of occasions where I just went, "What? Why's she wearing that in a place like this?"

Just don't even think of touching Neon Genesis Evangelion. Just... do not. o_o

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

I had seen the name in so many places so I thought it had to be somehow good movie as it was pretty known, but it turned out to be just a pointless wacko movie about drugs. Shame, directed and partly written by the Monty Python guy Terry Gilliam.

Red Cliff. Pretty entertaining martial arts epic. Based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series about Han Dynasty China.

Land of the Lost

Um. What? No.

D-

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

The first one still remains as my favorite, but this one was alright. Enjoyable. Don't regret the hour and half (I think that's how long it was, don't remember) at all.

B-

Monsters Vs. Aliens

I liked it. It was funny.

B+

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen

So despite some (okay, a lot) nonsensical scenes, and at times it looking like Bay stole scenes and characters right out of other movies it had a lot of asplosions. That combined with the "we hav to g3t to Prime nao lol" had me on the edge of my seat. It really did. So say what you want, but the latter half of the movie was pretty entertaining.

Although it would've been cool to see the sun asplode.

B

Dawn of the Dead

I could've gone without the sexual scenes and another particular scene, but the zombie killing was abundant.
