mob griefing on, 2. Very annoying to rebuild your stuff all together again. Mob griefing off, 6. Just plain annoying and can be life threatening if one blows up really close to you.

Ghasts on a scale of 1-10?

5, useful ghast tear drop. However they tend to despawn when you don't want them to and they are a bit tricky to defeat. Plus they hover over lava a lot of the time so you can't really guarantee that you will get the drops due to the items falling in lava and burn up.
