X-Men Origins: Wolverine

I went back and read the thread on this and I don't really get all the hate. I mean.. I never read the comics so I had no idea what it, from what I read, was supposed to be like. So maybe that's why? I dunno. I liked the action and I did spot a few cliches, but I found them enjoyable. As a whole it was nothing life-changing, and I did cringe at one point.... but it was a good way to spend my Thursday night.

*would watch again*

Whoa. That is the weirdest thing EVER!

Guess what I just watched? Yup.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine

I, too, really enjoyed it. And I, too, have never read the comics, so I don't know what they did wrong (if anything).

Anyways, I think it was a Thursday night well spent.

B

(Same rating, too. Weird. X-D)

Kung Fu Panda is awesome. 8)

But ask your friends why they hated it. Honestly, I don't understand that. It wasn't superb, but it was still very enjoyable.

If it's an X-men movie, and it isn't superb, it fails at life.

I had mixed feelings. It didn't do the comic, or even the cartoon justice. But I was happy to see a comic book movie. ^_^

Was not happy about nude latex paint women, though. AKA: Mystique.

I'll give it a B-

October Sky

Wow.

I was absolutely floored by this movie.

It was an amazing story, (Most of which is true) with great acting and amazing cinematography.

The only complaint I have is that the DVD I watched it off of had so many scratches that the second launch attempt kept skipping. We got it to work....eventually, but it still sucked.

October Sky is a favorite of mine.

Anyways, I drifted in an out of Wild Wild West....I can see why it did not do well.

Also, Monsters vs. Aliens. Meh, it's not near as good as everyone thinks it is. I was actually looking forward to it because just based on the title I had low expectations, but then people started to praise it, so I wondered. But no, B.O.B is the only real entertaining part about this movie.
