Absolutely devastating. The acting and directing were amazing, as was the movie. The Dunkirk beach scene? Incredible. O_o

So much better than I expected. A memorable adventure.

Also... I saw the new Where the Wild Things Are trailer and The Fantastic Mr. Fox trailer. Holy crap. I'm all a flutter for these movies. So much so that I would use the phrase "all a flutter." XD
I heartily suspect that my English lit course did this to me, but I very much appreciated and enjoyed 300 this time around. I've seen it before, and developed quite the distaste for it. That's all gone. In its stead is a strong respect for its dramatic overtelling of the story, which strongly represents the way stories would have been told in that time period. Which is really quite awesome.
Ned Kelly - An interesting little movie about the iconic Australian (or should I say, Irish..?) outlaw. Yet another impressive performance for Heath Ledger, and easily Orlando Bloom's best performance. I would even go as far as to say he was underused, as was Geoffrey Rush.
A Scanner Darkly - It's hard to pass quick judgment on a film that holds so much depth, and I'm not even sure the actors themselves understood the screenplay (I certainly haven't yet), but it's definitely an enthralling journey through the world of Philip K. Dick and Substance D. Strong performances in every aspect, and the rotoscope animation is spectacular.
